November 9th saw the 2023 edition of the prestigious EVCOM London Film Awards take place at Goodenough College in Bloomsbury.
We’re delighted to share the news that The Edge took home 7 trophies at the EVCOM London Film Awards for 4 different clients: Network Rail, Standard Chartered, Not Beyond Redemption, and HAVAS Just::, featuring 3 GOLDS, 1 SILVER, 2 BRONZES and no less than the prestigious Grand Prix – the prize for the best overall film of the year.
We’re over the moon with these results, and you can see some of the winning entries below…
Vulnerable People was produced to help inform Network Rail staff so that they’re better prepared to respond to trespassers on the UK’s rail network – often some of the most vulnerable people in our society – and we’re delighted with the really positive impact the film’s having in helping to challenge and change attitudes for the better.
It was the biggest winner on the night, receiving 2 Golds in Health & Safety and Internal Communications, a Silver in Learning & Development, and the overall Grand Prix, making it the second Grand award this year that it’s won. We’re beyond proud to have one our films achieve such heights, particularly one that focuses on such an important issue, and it makes Vulnerable People one of our most successful films in many years.
Valued Behaviours is a purpose film produced for Standard Chartered that aims to help re-energise colleagues around the bank’s brand values – and it picked up a Gold for Sound! It’s been really well-received within the Bank and we hope the film will continue to help bring SC’s valued behaviours to life for a long time to come.
We partnered with Not Beyond Redemption – a charity that provides free legal advice and representation to mothers in prison – with a focus on re-establishing access and relationships between mothers and their children, which is so often lost when they are sentenced.
Our short (pro bono) film – giving a platform to two women to tell their stories and NBR has helped them – picked up a Bronze for Use of a Smaller Budget!
Our Recruitment film for HAVAS Just::, the healthcare PR company – which showcases their diverse team of people, their values, their amazing office environment, and their creative atmosphere and culture – picked a Bronze in Brand Communication!
