Network Rail needed to enhance mandatory training focused on the travel experience of disabled passengers. Our award-winning course used film extensively to facilitate learning about the Social Model of Disability, which emphasises that it’s environmental barriers, not individual impairments, that limit travel opportunities. Led by a wheelchair user as our virtual guide and developed with guidance from disabled subject matter experts, the course ensures inclusivity, realistic scenarios, and empowers learners to improve disabled people’s travel experiences.
