Qatar's National Day

A film crew from The Edge were captured by Qatar’s national newspaper- The Peninsular, filming on National Day in Doha!

Qatar uses its National Day celebrations to reinforce the importance of heritage, culture and traditional values. The celebrations included 25 days of activities at 5 different locations, hundreds of people contributed and thousands attended. 

We covered four events for The Qatar Foundation- The Al Ardah sword dancing performance, the Qatar Philharmonic Orchestra performance, the National Day Film Premiere and the Diving Forum.  The finished film used a mix of traditional Arabic music and instrumental by the Qatar Symphony.  Please click here to see the finished version.
