This film for Vodafone supports their global induction process and welcomes new recruits to the company. Their brief was to bring The Vodafone Way (their global approach to business) to life and to include people from 22 offices across the world. It needed to be lively, fun, entertaining and to show how the individual operating companies work together to create the global brand.
To shoot this conventionally would have been cost-prohibitive and so, based on our User Generated Content expertise, we came up with a concept that allowed anyone within Vodafone to participate.
We created a script and storyboard, filming guide/test sequences in the UK, and sent out a pack of shots to all employees to copy with instructions on how to get the best results. The response was phenomenal – we received over 3,000 video clips to edit into a 90 second film!
We then spent three weeks editing the material together into the final film which is unlike anything we’ve done before.
