The launch of Al Khaleej Gas-2 (AKG-2), a joint venture between the State of Qatar, Qatar Petroleum and Exxon Mobil Corporation, is a milestone in Qatar’s development as one of the world’s foremost suppliers of energy. 

Following the official inauguration by The Amir His Highness Sheikh Hamad Bin Khalifa Al-Thani on May 10th, AKG-2 is expected to produce 1,250 million cubic feet per day (mcfd) pipeline sales gas, 15 million barrels of field condensate, around one million tonnes of natural gas liquids and an estimated 870,000 tonnes of ethane per year. 

The Edge were commissioned to produce 6 films, which were played at the inauguration on the world’s largest LCD screen and a specially designed 3-Dimensional ‘musion’ screen:
